I support women in business realise BIG ambitions

I can help.
I’m Lucy, a certified Business Coach, Development Consultant and Mama to two beautiful girls.
I love to work with socially driven enterprises and creative, independent business owners like YOU; to realise your big ambitions and take the next step up.
I have always loved bringing ideas to life, working in the creative sector with artists and social enterprises, and forever nurtured an entrepreneurial spirit of my own. I made the leap into working for myself whilst on mat leave with my first baby, Beatrix. As soon as the dust had settled after her birth and those manic first few had months passed, it slowly (but very surely) dawned on me that I just couldn’t go back to my old office job. No way on earth! I had loved it – but it just wasn’t what I wanted any longer. I craved more freedom, and needed to work in a different way now.
So I used what little time I had, got serious, found the support I needed and formulated my own exit strategy. By the end of the 12-months of mat leave I’d quit my job, gone freelance and replaced my old salary with part-time, at-home work that I loved. I also realised there were lots of women, just like me, who wanted to do the same, but were feeling stuck, or confused, or overwhelmed about where to start. So I grew my private coaching practice by supporting women doing exactly that – starting a business after having a baby.
After a while I realised the women I work with all share a common thread: helping others. Their business ventures; just like the charities and CICs I was supporting with my consultancy work, were all about supporting people. Sharing their creativity. Empowering others. Generally – making the world a better place!!
So I’ve since combined my passion for helping socially-focused enterprises and experience of project management with my love of coaching as a tool for transformation. I now support Female Founders of mission-driven business ventures via my 1:1 Coaching and Consultancy services.
You don’t need to feel stuck, or trapped in the status quo, when you’re working for yourself. I know it can feel overwhelming and hard to break out of the ‘busy’ cycle of just figuring this business stuff out, or chasing your tail delivering to clients; but it IS possible.
And this isn’t me telling you to do it My Special Way. No way! I can’t be doing with that nonsense. I want you to find YOUR way of doing this, your personal, happy, unique way. And that’s where I can help; through 1:1 Coaching. We’ll step back and reconnect with the big vision. Develop your business plans in line with that bigger picture, create a strategy that works for you, and implement: together.
Think of me as your temporary business partner, supporting you through the tough transition into a new phase of your business. Then when you’re ready, you fly.
I support self-employed individuals, creative sector organisations, charities and non-profits to achieve their goals. I offer coaching, consultancy services, training and workshops, doing just that.
